Accessibility Statement

Naleli Innovations wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology, a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, or a small or magnified screen.

Our standard

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. We have not had the website independently audited, so this statement describes our own testing and our aim; it is not a certificate of conformance.

What we have done

• Every page has one main heading and a logical heading order, and a “Skip to content” link appears when you press Tab.
• The whole site can be used with a keyboard. Focus is always visible. Menus open with the keyboard and close with Escape.
• Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked, and error messages say what went wrong next to the field.
• Meaningful images have text descriptions; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• Text and background colours are chosen for readable contrast. The layout adapts from large desktop screens to small phones, and the text can be enlarged with the browser without the page breaking.
• We respect the “reduce motion” setting on your device.
• Fonts are served from this website, which keeps pages light.

How we test

We test with automated tools (axe-core and Lighthouse), by keyboard-only navigation, and by checking pages at widths from 360 to 1440 pixels. We repeat these checks when we make significant changes.

Known limitations

• The store’s product filters. The search and price filters on the store page come from our store software. Some of their controls are not fully labelled for screen-reader users. You can browse each store section and every product without using them.
• The payment window. The card payment window is provided by Paystack and is outside our control. If you have difficulty using it, contact us and we will help you complete your order another way.
• Downloadable files. Templates and workbooks (for example Excel and Word files) are working documents and may not meet every accessibility guideline. Tell us what you need and we will do our best to provide a suitable alternative.
• Screenshots. Images of software screens on the Built by Naleli page are described in text, but the detail inside them is not fully available to a screen reader.

Tell us about a problem

If you find something on this website that you cannot use, or you need information in another format, please tell us at compliance@naleli.co.za. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We aim to reply within two working days and to fix genuine barriers as quickly as we can.
