Our thinking
Useful thinking. Plain language.
Practical ideas, guides and resources on business, operations, technology, learning, governance and compliance, written for people who have to put them into practice.
No unnecessary jargon. No theory for the sake of theory.
Having a policy is not the same as implementing it.
Policies are useful only when people understand them, responsibilities are clear and the organisation actually follows them.

Every article has to pass a simple test.
One useful article is better than ten empty ones.
Is it understandable?
Could someone outside the profession understand what we mean?
Is it practical?
Does it help the reader make a decision or take a next step?
Is it responsible?
Are we clear about what we know, what requires professional advice and where specialist support may be required?
Is it useful?
Are we publishing because it helps somebody, or simply because the website needs content?
Teach before you sell.
If you read five articles and leave better informed without becoming a client, the content did its job. It should sound like a knowledgeable person explaining something across the table.
Understand more. Make better decisions.
Not sure what your next step should be?
Whether you are running a business, managing an organisation, implementing a system, developing people or trying to strengthen governance, understanding the problem is the first step. That is what Our Thinking is for.
No presentation required. Just bring the problem.
